Doc In A Boxx

Healing is what the Black community needs and is the solution, but the trauma is the work. Our resident 'Psycho-Social' Clinician, Dr. Dennis "Ausar" Winkler, Ph.D. (Dr. DAW), is in the box every week weighing in on current events that affect the culture. Dr. DAW is our race-based trauma expert, social scientist, scholar-activist, counselor educator, and community stabilizer. Dr. DAW is the real deal! With a combination of expert insights and raw honesty, Dr. DAW, along with Queen B, creates a safe space for community conversations, tools for your mental health box, trauma-based education, and authentic celebrations of our community triumphs. Healing, growth, and connection are the destinations; join Dr. DAW during our Digital Healing Hour for that soul therapy in the box! It's Doc in the Box.

International Sundays

The Diaspora is rich, and BBR's digital passport wants to access that wealth. Sunday is the day we connect with the African diaspora all over the world. On every continent, Africans are cultivating and creating stories we want to share. We travel digitally to bring you the stories, the actual voices, and the perspectives of our people worldwide. From the Caribbean to the Continent, from South America to Europe, the diverse realities, our rich culture, and the shared experiences are the links that keep the Diaspora vibrant and healthy. Connection and information are the goals; expand your horizons and deepen your understanding of the African Diaspora with International Sundays.

Krowns

In a world that often tries to diminish our royalty, Krowns reminds us of our inherent greatness. Krowns celebrates the Kings and Queens of our community who are walking in their purpose and making an impact. The King Him Series honors Black men who are leading with integrity, building legacies, and authentically defining Black masculinity. The Queendom Series uplifts Black women who are breaking barriers, nurturing the community, healing hearts, and effortlessly displaying Black girl magic. These two series display a tapestry of Black excellence that should inspire you to wear your Krown!

BBR Spotlight

The Black community is a testament to strength and survival. These attributes produce and cultivate amazing people. The BBR Spotlight is dedicated to cataloging their stories. Each episode profiles a changemaker who is transforming their space and the Black community. The amazing people the BBR shines its light on are passionate, ingenious, dedicated, and innovative in action.
